ANG White | Album Release Party

Please don’t miss this! Be at NU Millennium Studios for AnG White’s album release party! We’re so honored to have been a part of this project. AnG is such a unique artist, in that she means every word of what she sings. Her music is honest, exciting, and super original.
In 2013, Angela White, aka AnG White, had been most notably recognized as the winner of Radio One’s Best Inspirational Singer in America contest.  Winning this contest afforded her the opportunity to record a single, ‘Reliable God’, produced by James Fortune. While winning that contest introduced AnG’s gift to the world, AnG is not a newcomer to the music industry. In fact, her musical roots can be traced back to her teenage years.  Like most singers, she started singing in church.  The South Philadelphia native began singing at a very young age at Rock of Ages Church located in Camden, NJ.

Her personal, powerful testimony of restoration and of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles in her life have a powerful impact on people to whom she ministers

Her professional career as a vocalist originated with her singing in Temple University’s Gospel Choir.  This experience granted her the awesome opportunity to travel extensively across the country, and AnG’s notoriety as a vocalist began to spread.  Furthermore, her unforgettable live performances of Tye Tribbett’s ‘Who Else But God’ and ‘Look Up’ with Stellar award-winning Kierra Sheard put her on the map and quickly distinguished her amongst her peers in the gospel music industry. While her high school peers were focusing on boys and the prom, Angie was lending her melodic voice to various artists and gospel group Tye Tribbett and Greater Anointing (GA).   She also contributed her vocal talent to recording sessions with Philly International record producers, Gamble and Huff.

AnG has currently completed her first full project produced by a long-time friend and Grammy, Stellar, and Dove-nominated producer, songwriter and arranger, Dana Sorey.  In this project, you’ll hear AnG’s distinctive, smooth alto tones in songs like ‘Pour Out Your Spirit.” Also songs like “Keep Me Searching” and “New Way” will positively encourage, inspire and compel you to dance and praise God as you listen to these songs.

In Studio | Pastor Jason Nelson

Sitting in on Jason Nelson pre-production session at C. Blake Studios. What an amazing person this guy is. He definitely has a connection, not only with the music and all that it entails, but definitely with God. That’s what makes him so effective. Don’t get me wrong, I feel that he’s arguably the best male gospel vocalist period! However, his connection to Christ makes his music so much more effective. Big shout to my big bro C.Bazz for putting me to work.

LifeSkills School of Music & Arts

Honored to be a part of the Life Skills School of Music and Art. So many beautifully talented youngsters from the inner city! They have so much to offer the world. I am teaching a class on Studio Production. After the first class on this past Sunday, I was so inspired to go further and push harder with music and everything involving it. These young adults don’t take what we’re doing for granted so I suppose I shouldn’t either.

So glad to be a part of this great program!
